Culvert Steaming Update
Culvert Steaming Update - The Rural Municipality (RM) advises that our dedicated crews are actively working to ensure smooth water flow during the spring runoff season.
Public Works staff are steaming culverts on a Priority Basis. As part of our ongoing maintenance efforts, crews are opening ditches in designated areas as per our GIS Maintenance plan.
Priority 1 - Risk of flooding to houses/homes
Priority 2 - Risk of flooding of garages/out buildings
Priority 3 - Risk of flooding of residential yards
Priority 4 - Risk of Flooding of agricultural fields
Please also be reminded that the Province (MTI) is responsible for clearing ditches and culverts along Provincial Roads and Highways and can be contacted directly at 204-346-6266.
We appreciate the community's support and patience as we carry out these essential operations. Our goal is to minimize any potential flooding and maintain the integrity of our infrastructure. Your cooperation is vital in helping us achieve this.
