Pickleball
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Dr George Johnson Middle School. Pickleball times are as follows, with Open indicating all players are welcome, and Competitive for those seeking a higher level of play:
Tuesday 6:30PM - 8:30PM - Beginner/Intermediate
Thursday 6:30PM - 8:30PM - Open
Friday 6:30PM - 8:30PM -Competitive
5-session passes, monthly and annual passes available. Cash drop-in not available at the school, please arrange to pick up passes from the Rec Center at 204-642-6670 or grcprogrammer@rmgimli.com.
Public Skate & Stick Time
Public Skate runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:45 to 4:45PM, Stick Time Wednesdays and Fridays 1:45PM to 4:45PM. CSA-approved helmets are mandatory for all participants during Stick Time, and for everyone under 18 for Public Skate.
Free Open Ice Curling
Fridays 1PM – 8PM at the Gimli Recreation Centre, excluding bonspiels and holidays. All children must be supervised, clean shoes only on ice; no knees, hands, or elbows on ice; do not run on ice or lift rocks; limited selection of brooms available for use.
Walking Club
Monday to Thursday 6PM-8PM at the Gimli High School, excluding stat holidays and snow days. No cost, but participants will need to bring clean indoor shoes.
Badminton
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 7PM – 9PM at the Gimli High School, excluding holidays and snow days. Contact Kerry at 204-407-2006 or Walter at 204-642-8507 for information.
