The focal point of indoor activity in our community is the Gimli Recreation Centre. The Rec Centre provides recreational and entertainment opportunities for both residents and visitors. Curling, hockey, skating, baseball, softball, pickleball, and swimming are some programs available through the Rec Centre.
The multi-function building is a venue for a variety of sporting and entertainment events throughout the year including concerts, socials, banquets, meetings, Christmas parties, and special events.
We also host annual events, such as Guys and Dolls Bonspiel, Pickleball Tournament, Rec Hockey Tournament, Quilt Show, the Summer Craft Show and Fall Craft Show, Gimli High School Grad, the MS Bike Tour, and many other major events.
